PostSubject: Removing the rear wiper on 5-door AE101?   Fri Mar 01, 2013 5:57 am

Is there a DIY on this?

I want to remove mine when I get my car back from the mechanic.

It is pretty simple mate, just a case of undoing about 4-5 nuts and bolts and the boot lid cover and job done. It will take half hour tops.

Thanks, how do I fix the hole in boot on the outside?
Weld and respray?

A bung is a rubber grommit, it's a basic fix, i'm going to use one on my vw polo when i take the wiper off that.

2 reasons..

1) I've never used it.
2) It will help make the car look cleaner. (I'm going for the eurostyle look, that part was supposed to be a surprise Razz)
