So, since my Corolla died, I got my all-time favorite car! In the UK, this is the IS200. But the USA IS300 has a much more powerful engine, plus other features like HID head lights. I will be building this car to a beast! Enjoy.

Nice! I've got the foot pedals from one of those in my Corolla . They're also known as the Toyota Altezza RS200 over here in NZ. I love the colour. I don't suppose it's the same colour code as the paint you used on your Corolla?

The paint is in fact different. It is a bit darker than the Impreza paint I had on the Corolla. Which is good, because I was debating painting the Corolla a darker, more subtle, less flashy blue. So now I've got it! It just seems more mature of a color, more grown up and less.... well ricey.

knowing christopher thats a positive yes he will be modding this beautifull car and honestly this was my nex option if my car had to get totaled. its very nice chris am glad you have one and am looking forward to seeing this car evolve as time goes on

yeah, the beams engine came in the car under a slightly different name. However, the US IS300 has the 2JZ-GE engine, which has more HP than the beams. So I am not planning to swap that. But I definitely want to boost it. For $6500 I can get a bolt-on turbo kit that puts the beast at 450 BHP LOL.

yip it's true i was recently watching a video clip on youtube about the altezza and boosting its engine you make 450bhp easy the ones that come with the 210hp engines with a simple turbo bolt on you can make a decent 270hp, altezza is a great car but it has one downside ( it's weight ) power to weight ratio sucks that why people mostly boost them, rebuild the engine with lighter/performance engine componants or swap it out with the almighty 2jz-GTE supra engine. but all in all inline six and rear wheel drive FTW

yeah exactly .... I-6 and RWD!! It does seem heavy to lug around, but I'll fix that with BOOST and suspension upgrades

thanks dude! By this weekend, I should have the intake and exhaust here ready to install. I might be good for the winter (snow), but if I don't wait, next will be TRD sway bars and high performance shocks to plant it better and lower it some more. We'll see after that...
